The first cover from Sports Illustrated in August this year, was one in honor of the magazine's sixtieth anniversary. Pictures from readers created a mosaic that was a recreation of the very first cover.
This cover was also the first in the month from Entertainment Weekly! At first, I thought it was photoshopped, but no that's actually Julia Louis-Dreyfus making it seem like she's Frank Underwood from House of Cards. (Kevin Spacey as Selina Meyer from Veep is in the corner.)
The SI cover is quite a great way to celebrate a milestone. And the EW cover is good fun for all involved.
