One of my favorite actresses in the world, Allison Williams (from Girls), has been named as the lead role in this year's live musical on NBC. Last year, Carrie Underwood won the lead in The Sound of Music. This year, Allison Williams will be playing Peter Pan! This is great news. I think I'll actually watch the whole thing this time because there are very few, if any, better choices. And to everyone saying, "Why wouldn't they cast a male in the role?," it's because in theater, Peter Pan is typically played by a woman. So check yourself and your facts. Allison is the best choice.
