100 Favorite Movies: 11

This one is officially the most recent movie on the list. The Best Picture-nominated ensemble film from the iconic Wes Anderson was one I saw in passing as a movie poster back in 2013. I was relatively intrigued, but when I actually saw The Grand Budapest Hotel, I was amazed. It was a visual masterpiece without a single flaw in costumes, cinematography, or anything of the ilk. The acting was phenomenal as expected and Tony Revolori stole the whole thing. It was a creative endeavor with a masterful narrative, engaging storytelling, and the feeling of true humanity. A great portrait of a man and of an era of history. Thank you, Wes Anderson.

Comedy drama directed by Wes Anderson and written by Wes Anderson in 2014.

Starring: Ralph Fiennes, Tony Revolori, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Saoirse Ronan, Edward Norton, F. Murray Abraham, Jude Law, Harvey Keitel, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton, Tom Wilkinson, Owen Wilson, Mathieu Amalric, and Lea Seydoux.

Tune in Monday for number ten!
