There are so many good Wes Anderson movies that it only makes sense to kick off the elite-ness that is the top forty with one of his finest: Moonrise Kingdom. Everything about it is Andersonian. The French music, the ornate title, the close-ups on letters, the Jason Schwartzman of it all. But at its heart, it has what every movie needs (not just Wes'). A good story with characters that are absolutely easy to root for and that's how it earned its spot.
