At the McDonogh High School in Maryland in 2004, a man named Darrius Heyward-Bey promised to bring his school's football field lights once he made it to the NFL. Ten years later, Heyward-Bey plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers and he made good on his promise. He did provide lights to his old school despite, apparently, a "0.8 percent" chance, citing that "life is about keeping promises and leaving a legacy." You're a good man, Darrius Heyward-Bey.
Great! More news like that should be covered.
