2013's List of Greatest People: 70-61

We're halfway in now. This is the fifth of ten installments! By now, you've probably realized that there's some surprises. Kyle Busch hasn't been on the list yet (and he won't be). Sorry NASCAR, but I don't care for you.

70. Ken Jennings - He makes the list, not for his record-breaking reign on Jeopardy, but for being one of the funniest men on Twitter.

69. Jack Sparrow - The best live action Disney character of all-time. Take that, Mary Poppins! If you listen closely to the dialogue and watch his actions vigorously, it's so much proof that he is a true winner.

68. Bradford Howe - Howe is a movie theater legend. Remember that time from March 2005 to December 2009 where everytime you went to see a film, there was a thing called Screenvision before it? Bradford was the host of Screenvision. It still warms my heart to this day.

67. George Takei - The funniest man on Facebook. That will be his repuation and legacy. I bet there's some people out there who join Facebook, like his page and then go through all of his pictures. Oh myyy....

66. The Swedish Chef - The all-time greatest Muppet, in my opinion. No offense to Grover or Animal, but everytime The Chef tries to cook lasagna and he ends up chasing a chicken dressed as a clown? Well that's just bork.

65. David Spade - Rules of Engagement. Tommy Boy. The Benchwarmers. The Emperor's New Groove. Grown Ups. Grown Ups 2. The comedy list goes on and on for the guy who plays himself everytime. And I don't mind.

64. Charles Nelson Reilly - There's Richard Dawson, Brett Somers, Gene Rayburn and Charles Nelson Reilly. The core group of Match Game, but Reilly is by far the funniest.

63. Happy Gilmore - The greatest golfer in history. He barely even plays before going on to win the Golden Jacket. He can drive a 600 yard green. He is a legend...and a Bruins fan.

62. Danny Williams - Nicknamed Dann-O by McGarrett, Scott Caan breathes new life into the character on the new show. He's so swaggerific that I don't know if it's Caan or Danno that I adore.

61. Lucille Ball - The funniest actress in history took part on one of the all-time great shows. Lucy's antics will forever be remembered through re-runs of Vitameatavegamin, the flaming nose, romps through Europe and a very quick chocolate conveyor belt.

  1. I am surprised to see Bradford Howe so high on the list and Lucille Ball so low! But happy to see Reilly and Dann-O!
