A Lip Sync Battle Television Show!
Oh my goodness! Two of my favorite bits from The Tonight Show are the Lip Sync Battles and the Classroom Instruments. I always eagerly await the next installment of each, but for the former it looks like I'll be getting pretty satiated pretty soon. Lip Sync Battles were first introduced to Jimmy Fallon and Late Night in May of 2013 when John Krasinski challenged Jimmy. Krasinski invented the game with Stephen Merchant and Emily Blunt and it spread to immense popularity with competitors like Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emma Stone, Paul Rudd, and Blake Shelton. Spike TV ordered Lip Sync Battle as a television show with executive producers, Fallon, Merchant, and Krasinski. The show will be filmed in New York City and will debut on April 2, 2015. Apparently, the three aforementioned producers will appear on the show along with a wide array of other celebrities. I am so excited!
