Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph appears in so many different specials (Rudolph's Shiny New Year, for one), but just as it is with Frosty the Snowman, the original one is always the best. The original Rudolph special might just be the crown jewel of Rankin/Bass Christmas specials. He goes from just being born to saving Christmas and along the way he accepts the quality that makes him a "misfit" as the same quality that makes him special. And thanks to him, Yukon Cornelius and Hermie the Elf realize this, too. 'Atta boy, Rudolph.
