Despite my initial thoughts about what I would provide for a write-up for this movie, the last film in a series is not often seen as the worst. The Hangover trilogy went out on a high note, Toy Story broke every limitation, and now we've got this golden chestnut. The last installment of the Harry Potter film franchise was, without a doubt, the best. Everything was building up to this and even though there were some gems along the way (Prisoner of Azkaban, Order of the Phoenix, Deathly Hallows - Part 1), this one just got everything right. And want yet another bit of praise that has popped up from time to time during this list? It almost perfectly translated the book to the movie. There were some things I'd change, but you really couldn't ask for a better movie from what those who made it were given. Ten years after Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, it was still all so magical.
Epic fantasy directed by David Yates and written by Steve Kloves in 2011.

Tune in tomorrow for number seventeen!
Definitely a great movie, but it also needs all that came before to make this one the payoff we all needed and wanted.
