Unbroken

Another war movie I saw recently took place in a completely different World War II location and, as opposed to Fury, it was actually a true story. But to be honest, I think I preferred Fury. I'm not sure if it's because I read Unbroken and became disgruntled when some of my favorite parts of the book were left out of the movie, but the film adaptation (while stunning) just left me kind of disappointed. Very well-made and very well-shot and acted and written and all that good stuff, but I think it was always on the fast track to disappointment. Such is the life of an elf, I guess. Still so powerful, though. Both Fury and Unbroken were.
