Awards season is so overloaded with awards ceremony that anything besides the Oscars and the Golden Globes is typically rendered meaningless. But when you get amazing hosts for a fairly-obscure show, then it suddenly gains meaning. The Film Independent Spirit Awards never get too much recognition (this year they'll be airing February 21 - a Saturday - at 2:00 P.M. on IFC), but the hosts this year are stellar ones. Kristen Bell and Fred Armisen are the very worthy successors to last year's Patton Oswalt affair. You can't go wrong with these two!
That is an interesting pair for hosting duties! Hopefully it is a fun night.
