While the development of Ghostbusters was far from normal, that doesn't take away from the quality of it. In fact, the phenomenon that resulted from the amazingly impeccable movie was just as far from normal as the production. The cast was originally supposed to be Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Eddie Murphy. Those were supposed to be the Ghostbusters. Well, the cast that ended up coming out of the development was one that I truly love. I love the cast they chose so much and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Egon Spengler is one of the all-time great movie characters. Granted, so are Peter Venkman and Ray Stantz, and, hell, even the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, but Spengler is so great. I LOVE this movie.

It is a fun movie and I remember it being such a big deal at the time it came out. I enjoy it, a fun movie.
