To Kill a Mockingbird Sequel

This is huge literary news. Harper Lee famously wrote To Kill a Mockingbird, one of the all-time great American novels and she also almost-as-famously only wrote To Kill a Mockingbird. She never published another book...until now. Go Set a Watchman, a sequel of sorts to To Kill a Mockingbird, is slated to be published on the fourteenth of July this year. It's been over sixty years since her most famous and truly breathtakingly beautiful novel was published, but after the rediscovery of the manuscript for Go Set a Watchman (which was written in the 1950s before To Kill a Mockingbird), Lee will be an author twice over - as if there was any question to her reverence. The new book will be set in Maycomb, Alabama once again as it will center around Scout Finch revisiting her father, Atticus, from New York as an adult. Her publishers and confidants have said remarkable things about the new foray and Lee herself said, "I thought it a pretty decent effort. I am humbled and amazed that this will now be published after all these years." Can't. Wait.
