100 Favorite Movies: 84

Ah, Moneyball. An amazing, Best Picture-nominated movie about baseball that's not actually about baseball. It's about math and statistics and faith and the such and "Yayyy! If we believe we can win, we can! Go sports and inspirational speeches!" Which is surprising to me, because I do not like math and I am not good at it. But that definitely does not take away from the film's quality whatsoever. Plus, it solidified Jonah Hill as a dramatic actor, as well as a comedic one. No harm there, that's for sure.

Sports drama directed by Bennett Miller and written by Steven Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin in 2011.

Starring: Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Chris Pratt, Robin Wright, Kerris Dorsey, Jack McGee, and Casey Bond.

Tune in tomorrow for number eighty-three!
