To finish off the first ten films in the list, we have a Disney classic and one of their best live-action movies of all-time. Mary Poppins, a highly controversial one in the eyes of P.L. Travers, definitely deserves a spot in the list because Travers' opinion was an unpopular, pretentious one. This movie has so many good songs, like Feed the Birds, Chim Chim Chiree, and Let's Go Fly a Kite. Those songs deserve their own spot.
Musical comedy directed by Robert Stevenson and written by Bill Walsh and Don DaGradi in 1964.
Starring: Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke, David Tomlinson, Glynis Johns, Karen Dotrice, Hermione Baddeley, and Reta Shaw.
Tune in Monday for number eighty-nine!
A classic, for sure.
