23 Jump Street Is Apparently a Thing

22 Jump Street ended with Ice Cube telling Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, "You two sons of bitches are going to medical school," a la 21 Jump Street and then it proceeded to parody itself by teasing over twenty sequels to the series. 23 Jump Street was Medical School. The sequels go all the way to 2121 Jump Street and include such subtitles as Ninja Academy, Traffic School, and A Semester at Sea. In one, Seth Rogen appears in Jonah's role and then Jonah subsequently returns and says, "Yeah, I'm up for another mission, what contract dispute?" It was pretty funny and seemed to confirm that instead of opting for the trilogy, they were going to leave it at 21 Jump Street (which was surprisingly successful in itself) and 22 Jump Street. However, Deadline has reported that Jonah and Channing are returning to make a third film, 23 Jump Street (which was also teased when a housing development was in construction across the street that said, "23 Jump Street: Coming Soon)! Rodney Rothman has been hired to write the script with Neal Moritz, Phil Lord, and Chris Miller returning to production. No other details have been announced, but I'm on board!
