To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Friends pilot and the tenth anniversary of its finale, a short-term diner/cafe/restaurant "popped up" in New York City. It gave out free coffee from September 17 to September 30 thanks to Warner Bros. partnering with Eight O'Clock Coffee. It will still be open at 199 Lafayette Street until October 18, but coffee will cost cash then. To celebrate the opening, James Michael Tyler (Gunther) and The Remembrandts (I'll Be There for You) made appearances! Pretty cool, I think.
Very cool way to celebrate the anniversary!
