Bob Cratchit

There were too many different Bob Cratchits to pick from what with movies and television programs and all so I decided to go with a photo of Bob that comes directly from the artist's interpretation of Bob as he is presented in the novel. Bob Cratchit is an excellent foil to Ebenezer Scrooge because he cares more about his family than his job, more about making a good Christmas than making a good living. Above all else, though, he wants what's best for his family. How screwed up would that have been if Scrooge didn't change his ways? Good work, Dickens.

  1. Crachit is the anti-Scrooge. He puts up with all Scrooge's crap and still wishes him well.
