Jesse Pinkman, of Breaking Bad fame, is not a bad selection to begin the top fifty of this sixty character-long countdown at all. I do enjoy watching dramas on television, but there's no dying the fact that there are going to be more characters from comedies than dramas. That's just the truth. (Sorry, Tony Soprano! I promise to watch your show one day. I've heard only good things.) But Breaking Bad was just too good of a show to ignore. And why should I ignore it? Jesse Pinkman was just such a well-made character because most audience members can think of some kid they knew growing up who was like Jesse. Mixed up in awful stuff? Sure. A good person at heart? Absolutely. You root for Jesse from start to finish on that show because he is just so tortured. It's tough that he never even really got his happy ending. But he's got a chance.
