A Walk in the Woods Is a Movie

Bill Bryson is one of the greatest authors of the modern age and one of his finest literary works is A Walk in the Woods, his memoir of his hike on the Appalachian Trail with his friend, Stephen Katz. And I was very surprised to learn that a movie based on the book was actually being made and released in theaters. Robert Redford plays Bryson and Nick Nolte plays Katz while Nick Offerman and Emma Thompson are present in supporting roles. It didn't get great reviews, but the whole thing was rather peculiar so I had to remark on it. Book was great, though!
