Louis C.K., one of the best stand-up comedians alive right now, is taking an extended hiatus from his hit FX comedy, Louie. He has made, written, produced, and starred in sixty-one episodes of the show since 2010 and he is just ready for a break "to work on other things," but FX has confirmed that there is a spot for him if he wants to return. This is very similar to how Larry David put Curb Your Enthusiasm on extended hiatus around the same time Louie debuted. But now, Larry is thinking about a ninth season. Hopefully, Louis C.K. gets to that point eventually, too!
