50 Favorite Albums: 5

And now we've reached the top five. This is a very exclusive place on the list to be. And what better band to kick off this final stretch of the countdown than the iconic band, Men at Work? Cargo is the second album released by the Colin Hay-lead band, but it is the first album on my list of favorite albums by Men at Work! Just take a look at the hit songs that came from Cargo before anything else: High Wire, Overkill, It's a Mistake, and Dr. Hekyll and Mr. Jive. It doesn't get much better than that. I could listen to Hay's vocals all day long. They are truly just so very pleasing.

Cargo: 1983 new wave rock album from Men at Work.

  1. Like the Bee Gees were the epitome of 70s and disco, I think this album is just perfect for what the early 80s and pop and all were at. Just like a time capsule of the moment.
