Whether you know him as Burton Guster or Felicia Fancybottom...or Squirts Macintosh...or Hummingbird Saltalamacchia or The Vault of Secrets or Ghee Buttersnaps aka "The Heater" or Gus "Silly-Pants" Jackson or Lavender Gooms or Schoonie "U-Turn" Singleton or any one of the many nicknames Gus has worn reluctantly and, occasionally, with pride, there's no doubting that Gus is probably the greatest sidekick in television history. And he's not even really that much of a sidekick because he's every bit as valuable as Shawn! And he'd be the first to tell you that, too. Gus is driven, passionate, and loyal and he has an undercurrent of longing for love, too. Most times that hole is filled by Shawn. But through all his many ups and downs, I'm sure everyone has a great deal of love and respect for Bruton Gaster.
