This sounds pretty amazing. IFC has ordered a late night talk show pilot for its channel and the show will be hosted by the creator of shows like Community and Ricky and Morty, Dan Harmon. But there's a twist. It's not your average talk show. The guests will be comedians pretending to be historical figures. In the pilot, apparently, Seaton Smith will play Frederick Douglass, Robert Smigel will play Albert Einstein, Roy Albanese will become Benjamin Franklin, and Eleanor Roosevelt will look a lot like Bonnie McFarlane. Sign me up for this show!
Sounds like an interesting concept! I'd give it a try.
