100 Best People 2014: 22-20

 22. Lucille Ball

We've got some black and white coming to you on this post, but don't scroll down yet! Appreciate Lucy. She is a pioneer in comedy and one of the all-time greats. There's no doubt she is one of the funniest women to ever live and her television show, I Love Lucy, was also the best there ever was, in the eyes of many. As an avid fan of comedy, I, oh, hell, all fans of comedy owe a huge debt to Lucy.

 21. John "J.D." Dorian

We've featured Dr. Cox on the list already, but of course J.D. would be here, too! He was my favorite character on Scrubs, but it's not a cop-out just because he was the lead, he genuinely was my favorite. So funny and imaginative, but also sensitive and in touch with his emotions. Dr. Cox put it best when he said, "And you can forget about him being just an exceptional physician. Because the fact of the matter is, he's a damn exceptional person. It's why people gravitated to him. It's why I did."

20. Walt Disney

And, of course, Walt Disney. What a way to kick off the top twenty, where it really gets down into the thick of it. The nitty-gritty. He belongs here just as well as the rest of them. He created happiness and magic from very little. Obviously we all know he is the founder of the Disney company, which has produced such amazing things over its run, I don't even need to say them. While Walt is famous for saying, "It all started with a mouse," perhaps it should have been it all started with him. Because it did.

  1. I can't imagine who will fill out the top spots if these three are here! Kudos on including Ball and Disney.
