On a flight from Detroit to Los Angeles on June 27, Amy Adams gave up her seat in first class for one in coach for a soldier after she saw him at the gate. She was born on a military base in Italy (cannot ever be President, shucks) and grew up on one in Colorado. Amy also said she "didn't do it for attention for herself, but for attention for the troops." An ESPN employee, Jemele Hill, was on the flight as well and summed it up best. "I was already a fan of hers, but now I'm a bigger one after today."
Very cool move, indeed.
