58. John D. Ryder
The man who has one of the all-time great voices. John D. Ryder was a sports radio and radio talk show host for WEEI and he even had his own show. After sixteen years with the station, he recently announced on Twitter he was leaving. It's too bad. I used to fall asleep listening to his voice tell me what happened on the Red Sox game that just ended. Fare thee well, John D. Ryder, Beast Warrior Legend.
57. Dan Andelman
Another local celebrity, Dan Andelman is the host of channel eight culinary program, Phantom Gourmet. Every now and then he will talk about something other than food, but most of the time it's food that's on his mind and hey. I don't mind! There's nothing that reminds me of Sunday mornings more than Dan Andelman talking about food on Phantom Gourmet.
56. Charles Nelson Reilly
Match Game's best panelist! Always witty, dry, and flamboyant, Charles Nelson Reilly was a spectacle in himself more so than the show itself. One of my favorite moments was during the first winner's round where the celebrities would give something to finish a word or phrase. The word was "bi_____" or "bi blank." Charles leaned into the microphone and knowingly said, "Bisexual." Perfect.
55. Chris Traeger
Were that this optimist were the king of optimists. Chris Traeger's biggest trait is his undying optimism. He always looks at the bright side of things and is just in a constant state of pure happiness. I do miss his presence on Parks and Recreation, but due to the upcoming final season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rob Lowe come back a little. I would literally be ecstatic.
You continue to surprise me with the eclectic bunch you choose! Love that Traeger made the list, he is missed, as is Reilly.
