In the wake of recently announced Emmy nominations, I think it's time this blog celebrates them in a completely unique way that has been a long-time coming. Of course, I have to make sure it's cool with the readers first. If you, the readers, approve this plan, we'll go right on ahead with it starting on Saturday, July 26! The goal is to determine the all-time Emmys and yes that means exactly what you think it means. From the days of I Love Lucy to the days of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, I want to have huge input, huge voting, huge determination to find out what is truly the best in television. If you approve this, I will decide one hundred shows for comedy and drams each for consideration and they will be whittled down over the course of the process until we're left with six, like actual Emmy nominations. The same goes for the actors, both drama and comedy. There will also be the other categories, but with much less than one hundred options. What do you say? Shall we do it? Weigh in if you'd like to see this happen!
